76 Divisions

In order to allow teams to compete against teams of similar ages and abilities, CHEERSPORT offers a wide variety of competition divisions at our events. Each division is defined by age, skill level as determined by LevelPlay, the number of males allowed and the total number of team members allowed. The divisions offered are compliant with USASF division guidelines.

Grand Championship Series
Every Nationals division is offered at our Grand Championship Series events. USASF Guidelines mandates that if any team does not have competition within their division then we will combine small and large divisions within the same level to create competition.

CHEERSPORT Nationals
For the 2008 CHEERSPORT Nationals, 76 divisions are being offered. CHEERSPORT works very hard to determine the best mix of divisions to offer at our Nationals in order to promote the most competitive environment possible. Even with over 800 teams at the 2007 Nationals, and after splitting 24 divisions, we still had an average division size of about 10 teams per division!

Individual and Stunt Groups
CHEERSPORT holds our Individual & Stunt Group Nationals in conjunction with our season ending competition in Jacksonville, FL - the Jacksonville Beach Blast! This is the only CHEERSPORT competition that offers individual and stunt group divisions.

Division Splits and Combinations
Occasionally, divisions may be split (usually based on squad size), combined or removed at the discretion of the competition director in order to promote the best competition atmosphere. In these instances, affected teams will be notified before the competition.
